Regarding Direct Linking Linking directly to images hosted on Artplaymix.com induces bandwidth theft and is not permitted. As a result of excessive abuse, Jason and Heather do not allow their artwork to be used for Avatars, Signatures, Wallpapers, etc. However, many Artplaymix.com illustrations have been exclusively licensed-out to MyPSPTubes for the purpose of being sold to PSP users. Obtaining Permission for Image Usage To obtain permission to feature artwork on a website, send a detailed request to the Artplaymix.com webmaster. Be sure to include a link to the site that is seeking to host the image(s) along with your name and affiliation to that site (ie. owner, designer, etc.). The webmaster will review your request, then (provided that the proper requirements are met) forward it to Jason and Heather for consideration. Permission Guidelines If you obtain permission to display Jason and Heather's illustrations, the following criteria must be respected. -The image(s) must be hosted on your site. -You may only use images that clearly display the Artplaymix.com watermark. -Do not crop, embellish, retouch or modify the image(s) in any way. If you feel that some alteration may be necessary (resizing for example), be sure to include your alteration request (and reasoning for that request) in your original email to the webmaster. -A copyright permission statement must be placed in obvious proximity to each image, and be easily readable. The statement should read: "Copyright Jason and Heather Martin, Artplaymix.com. Used with permission." -The actual image(s) should link back to the Artplaymix.com front page. If your page layout does not allow for clickable images then an obvious link the the Artplaymix.com front page should be included in close proximity to each image. -Permission to use Artplaymix.com images may be declined or retracted at the discretion of Jason, Heather, or the webmaster. If notified to remove an image or images, you must do so immediately. Exceptions may be made for clients who have hired the Artplaymix.com team to create artwork with the mutual agreement that the commissioned illustration(s) will be featured on their websites, in publications, etc.
